CapCut Black Friday 2026: Pro Deals, Eligibility and Renewal Costs

Capcut Black Friday 2026

CapCut advertises a desktop annual-plan campaign for 20-30 October, but its Pro discount wording conflicts: up to 60% in the headline versus 40% lower down. Your account’s offer and renewal still need checking.

Need footage for CapCut? Try AI video generation free for 7 days

Before paying for more editing features, check whether you need footage to edit. DIY AI Studio is our own creation workspace for trying short AI clips. Use it to assess your source footage needs, then compare CapCut’s editing subscriptions below.

Available models, clip lengths and resolutions depend on your account. Check the credit requirement before generating. Studio provides a separate footage workflow; it doesn’t include CapCut Pro, Ultra, or its editing timeline.

7 days free. 50 Studio credits. No coupon required. Card and newsletter sign-up required. Then US$9.99/month until cancelled. The 50 credits are one Studio trial allowance, shared across eligible tools. This is our standard trial, not a Black Friday-exclusive sale.

A first-month discount and a first-year discount need different sums

Start with the amount leaving your account. A monthly equivalent beside an annual plan can obscure an upfront payment, while a discounted first month can make a relatively expensive year look cheap. Compare the same tier, billing period, currency and tax treatment.

The following figures are illustrative, not CapCut prices. They show why the term matters more than the headline percentage.

Example offerFirst 12 monthsComparable normal costActual saving
£6 first month, then £15/month£6 + 11 × £15 = £17112 × £15 = £180£9
£90 first annual term; usual annual price £150£90 upfront£150 upfront£60

In the second example, a £150 renewal would make two years cost £240. Comparing £90 with twelve monthly payments of £15 would suggest a £90 saving, but £30 of that difference already comes from normal annual billing. Only £60 is the additional saving from the sale.

Then compare against the months you expect to use the editor. Someone with three busy months would spend £45 at the illustrative £15 monthly rate. A £90 annual offer would cost twice as much, even with a substantial annual discount. Our CapCut pricing guide covers the full range of plan options.

New users, existing Pro members and Ultra buyers have different decisions

New customer: open a representative project before subscribing. Finish its captions, background removal and export, noting which step actually requires payment. Choose the least expensive tier that completes that job. Paying for a long feature list has little value if your bottleneck is one caption style.

Existing Pro member: compare your next renewal with the offer shown while signed in. Do not cancel a working subscription merely to try to become eligible. CapCut’s renewal guidance says you can lose an older price after cancellation and expiry; a new subscription can use the new price. Ask support how an offer interacts with your remaining term if the billing screen does not explain it.

Ultra candidate: identify the specific AI operation or capacity limit that Pro fails to cover. Estimate the credits needed for complete jobs, including retries. A higher allowance helps only if it covers the models, settings, and workflow you use. It does not establish unlimited generation.

If creating source clips is the missing step, test that workflow before adding another annual editing plan.

No coupon required. The same trial conditions above apply, including the shared 50-credit allowance and US$9.99/month renewal.

Measure the cost of finished reels, including caption corrections

A recurring buyer concern is paying for Pro mainly to get captions, then discovering the preferred format, platform, or export step has different requirements. Test a complete reel on the device you will use. Include names, punctuation, timing corrections, your usual template and the final export.

Use this break-even calculation: subscription cost ÷ hourly value of editing time = hours the subscription must save. With an illustrative £18 monthly subscription and editing time valued at £24 per hour, the threshold is 45 minutes a month. At four reels monthly, each must save just over 11 minutes. Count correction time as well as the initial automatic pass.

For client work, add re-exporting and revision requests to the test. Our CapCut review helps assess the editing workflow. If your main challenge is generating footage from still images, compare image-to-video generators separately before treating an editing discount as the answer.

Desktop eligibility does not guarantee the same mobile purchase price

CapCut’s help centre says pricing can vary by region, device and promotion. Its purchase guidance also separates web billing from Apple and Google subscriptions. A subscription’s cross-device benefits and the channel through which you can purchase a discount are two different checks.

Sign in with the account holding your projects and subscription. Compare the actual first charge and renewal on that account; do not compare another person’s screenshot with your own offer as if both were available to you. Check whether VAT is included, which currency will be charged, and whether a card conversion fee changes the total.

Commercial work needs one further check. CapCut’s legal centre limits commercial use of supplied templates and materials to those expressly labelled for it. A paid plan does not make every music track or template suitable for a client advertisement. Check the individual asset before committing the project to it.

Record the offer before accepting an annual commitment

  1. Open the offer through the official desktop app and confirm the signed-in account.
  2. Record the tier, initial charge, billing period, tax, next charge and renewal date.
  3. Check trial conversion, existing-member eligibility and what happens to your current subscription.
  4. Confirm the credit allowance and the features needed for your completed export.
  5. Save the offer and receipt, then verify that the expected entitlement appears in the app.

CapCut’s published terms say cancelling renewal normally leaves access until the current paid period ends. Its help centre advises cancelling at least 24 hours before renewal. Manage cancellation through the original billing provider and keep confirmation; cancellation and a refund are separate.

When the terms match your needs, check your eligible CapCut offer. We may earn a commission from that link. For occasional editing, a shorter commitment can cost less. For regular paid work, judge the annual offer by its renewal cost and the time it saves on finished projects.

Will Cyber Monday offer a better CapCut deal?

We have not verified a separate 30 November 2026 Cyber Monday offer or a promise to match a later price. An October campaign should not be assumed to continue through November. Buy based on a documented current need and an acceptable renewal, not a prediction about the next sale.
