How the process works

Testing disclosure
Provider-funded evaluations use the same core scoring criteria as independently selected tests. The provider funds the research time, not the result. Any published coverage will clearly state that the provider paid a fixed fee to prioritise testing.
Queue timing
Testing normally begins within 10 working days, subject to product access and category complexity. Complex coding, video, analytics or enterprise products may require a revised scope before testing starts.
Unsuitable or inaccessible products
DIY AI may decline or place a submission on hold if a product is inaccessible, unsafe, outside current categories, substantially unfinished, a white-label duplicate, or impossible to compare fairly. If DIY AI rejects a submission before testing begins, it will issue a refund. If work has started, the published refund terms apply.
